I have just heard from a friend of mine that he is having a hard time with his medical aid and now these points are what i am thinking to construct my next article
Doctors studied and earned the right to charge a fair amount of money for their services and they should be able to give themselves an increase every year
If one is taught the good discipline in the beginning of their career of save 10% or more of everything you earn from day 1
If one would like to buy something to then save up at least double plus 25% of anything you wish to buy after some time this will eventually build into a substantial amount of money
One could then have ones own interest bearing account for medical funding and then this could build into a tidy sum if not affect by eccessive medical bills
Companies could create their own in house medical schemes to the benefit of their employees and also for tax purposes.
The company could reach an agreement with the employee that they would create a medical fund each employee will then have his own interest bearing account
Medical Aids have alienated doctors because of red tape
why can it not be a simple pay the practitioner direct without humming and haaring
most of the bad news happens when medical aids pay directly into ones own account and it goes unnoticed and the money is inadvertently spent
any person living a normal/middle class existence does not really have spare capital lying around to pay the doctor
the Doctor then gets upset with the medaid and the patient
why do we have animosity in the industry anyway.
